The"Umber blue(UB)"series was inspired byKorean artist Yun hyong-keun. Large brushstrokes expressing the modest and humblevirtues of Korean traditional aesthetics arereplaced by grinding steel, the basic material ofmodern aesthetics, and oxidizing and coloring itusing Ebonol-C. Also oxidation-corrosive partsshow the passage of time of steel.
